“Technologies That Can Operate at -180°C” – Motiv Interviewed by the Associated Press

(Pasadena, California – April 12, 2021)

Tom McCarthy, our VP of Business Development, sat down virtually with the Associated Press to discuss our work developing the COLDArm with JPL.

Motiv’s COLDArm is designed to survive the extreme cold of some parts of space, and operate at temperatures as low as -180°C.  We’re working closely with our partners at NASA JPL to develop the COLDArm, which we believe can make critical contributions to efforts like NASA’s Artemis program that seeks to return astronauts to the moon by 2024.
