Production Control Clerk
The Motiv Production Control Clerk will provide clerical work and administrative support to the Production Control team by supporting shipping and receiving activities, creating and maintaining inventory, ERP and quality management databases, and participating in hardware and material handling actions.
Classification: At-will; Non-Exempt; Hourly Reports To: Vice President, Operations Location: Pasadena, CA Work Environment: Office/Lab Citizenship Requirement: Motiv Space Systems, Inc. positions require access to defense articles, equipment, technical information or service that is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be a “U.S. Person” as defined by ITAR, 22 CFR 120.15, 8 USC 1101(a)(20), and 8 USC 1324b(a)(3). Work Schedule: Standard 40-hour work week; some overtime may be required.
Duties and Responsibilities
Shipping activities (domestic and international)
Receiving records and activities
Collection and distribution of parts, material movement, and kitting
Continually updating Production Control and Inventory Management databases
Actively participating in inventory management/distribution processes and activities
Providing technical and schedule information to Production Control and Hardware Development departments
Review documents and data for accuracy and completion
Support associated tasks

Have excellent concentration and attention to detail with outstanding work efficiency and accuracy
Have an energetic personality, eager to interface with Motiv staff and suppliers in person and over the phone
Have excellent communication and listening skills
Use a computer to capture and record data

Education, Experience, and Training
Minimum 2 years of work experience
High school diploma or GED required
Associates degree is desired
Experience with electronic parts handling and ESD Training (preferred)
Demonstrated experience and ability to read, interpret, and follow:
Drawings and parts lists
Proficient with computers and the ability to use MS office
